I've raced BMX since 1985, particpating in at a local and national level in the NBL, ABA and one UCI Worlds. I've ranked as high as National #2 in my cruiser class in the NBL and NAG 5 in the ABA. In my only UCI Worlds in Brighton, England I made it to my semi but wrecked and did not make the final.
I've started and run a local track (Hire Park BMX - Warsaw, IN USA), served as a State Commisioner (Indiana/USA) and started and have maintained a BMX racing web site, BMXmania.com since 1996.
I love BMX, and currently enjoy covering U.S. national and UCI international events for my web site as well as BMX World and NBL BMX Today magazines. I also maintain a Formula BMX Cruiser and ride it at Hire Park as many time each week as I can. During the winter, I may get a chance to ride it at Steel Wheels BMX in Portage, IN the local ABA indoor track.
I'm married with three grown kids, my wife, Kathy and I have four dogs, a Black Lab, Chihuahua and two Rat Terriers.
When I'm not flying off to BMX races, I officiate middle and high school basketball as a licensed Indiana High School Athletic Assoication refferee, attend Community Grace Brethren Church and work on my house and apartment house that we own.
This is probably the only profile that I've ever posted to the internet, except I did one for SarahWalker.com, no My Space or Face Book. I'm to busy keeping BMX Mania up to speed.
That's about it!
