Team USA is sharing internet access here at the Hilton. We went ahead and bought internet for the week for just one room and are sharing time on it so that we can keep in touch with our internet dependant world. We dont actually ride until tomorrow so the week has been filled with playing cards and getting in trouble.

Last night Bubba, Donny, Cisar, Amanda, beast and I ran from the cops. We rode our bikes to the track (about 2 miles) to check it out and were stopped by a police officer who informed us that we werent allowed to ride without helmets (a fact we already knew but chose to ignore because we didnt want to ride in our full face helmets) we were told its like a $500 fine that he would gladly hand out but he was blocking traffic and that we had to walk our bikes, absolutely no riding. Well we were pretty far from the hotel and still hadnt made it to the track so we waited for him to turn the corner and continued our ride. On the way home he caught us and turned on his siren but was stuck at a light. Bubba took off full sprint and I followed suit sprinting the last 4 blocks to the hotel with the rest of the gang behind us. He chased us all the way to the hotel but we ran inside and caught an elevator before he got out of the car. We were all pretty afraid to go back down into the lobby for dinner so we changed shirts, put on hats, and tried to look as discrete as possible but he was gone when we came back down.

Today some Aussie media arranged for us to hang out with some Koalas and Snakes. It was pretty rad. i am going to try and post some pics in a new Aussie album so you can check them out. The track looks pretty good, the first jump is HUGE so its probably going to sketch out a lot of girls, but for us Americans we are excited to ride it. ill try to throw in an update after the time trial Saturday, Peace
