Well I haven't posted in a bit as I have been just working my butt off at my job and trying to get as much gym time in as possible. With all these AA's moving into the class I am going to have to step it up a notch. Went to Morristown, TN this past weekend and had a good time with friends. Sat went ok, got into the semi and was sitting good into the first turn when some rookie pro divebombs the turn and balls everyone up (especially me) Ended up 5th in the semi. Funny thing is if this rookie would have tucked in behind me we would have come out top 4. Clown! Sunday was good made it to the semi and I had the stacked semi. Upshaw, Kapes, Berthiaume, Logan Collins, Owens, Barry Nobles. Needless to say there were 29 guys this weekend and I would say most of them were fast. We had 5 AA's show up. Well I made it out of my semi and into the main. Ended up taking 4th from gate 8 so I was stoked with that. On a side note I also took 2nd place at our local poker game. ha ha ha Good times for sure.
Next stop for me is West Palm Beach Fl. I will have to drive down there in the middle of the night and get no practice on Friday so we will see how things will go. I look forward to putting my Formula on top of the podium. After that I am headed to Desoto, TX for the USAC race. I am also going to try to get out to Witter Narrows, CA for the NBL race as well. I gotta see if I can swing a flight. After that it is off to China for the Worlds. I can't wait for that.
Well I need to get in a lot of sprints in order to get on the podium. See you guys at some of the upcoming races.
